Graduated in 1992, completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Studies in 2008, and Master’s Degree (M. Arch.) in Urban and Regional Planning in 2011.

Her professional, as well as academic experience, has made her career rich in varied sectors of Architecture, Planning, Educational, Social, Cultural, Environmental, etc. Her passion for teaching inspires her to gain experience in various fields. Reading and Travelling are her hobbies./p>
She thinks that awareness of socio-economic needs, environmental issues, institutional protocols, technological advancements is must for every student and professional of Architecture; and to explore this education should not be restricted to the class room but to be extended beyond.
“A teacher is a student first….” that’s what she believes in strongly.
Learning new things is her passion. She has attempted several Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) in diverse domains; Architecture and Planning, Engineering, Management, and other Multidisciplinary. She has participated in various conferences and workshops on Sustainable Urban Development, Slum Development, GIS, Earthquake Resistant structures, A.C. systems, etc. Reading and traveling are her hobbies. She also has presented papers and articles in conferences.
She recommends books” Jonathan Livingston Seagull” by Richard Bach,” a Marathi novel “Prarambh” by Gangadhar Gadgil (also translated in English by Arvind Dixit) and a documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” directed by David Guggenheim.
