He has about more than a decade of teaching experience and has worked extensively on various methods of improvising learning for new Learners, in the field of Architecture, in various institutions

He has done Masters in Architecture, with specialization in Project Management and conservation as a subject of interest. He has conducted various guest lectures on Landscape Architecture, Indian History, Technical subjects and skilled based subjects in conjunction with current trends in the industry.

He strongly believes in Team Work, encourages logical, creative and virtual thinking and the skill to put thoughts on paper. He recommends importance of Allied Subjects equally and as a new trend in emergence in modern Architectural Practice.

He recommends books like "Places of the Soul" by Christopher Day and "India: the ancient Past" by Burjor Avari.

Her professional, as well as academic experience, has made her career rich in varied sectors of Architecture, Planning, Educational, Social, Cultural, Environmental, etc. Her passion for teaching inspires her to gain experience in various fields. Reading and Travelling are her hobbies./p>

She thinks that awareness of socio-economic needs, environmental issues, institutional protocols, technological advancements is must for every student and professional of Architecture; and to explore this education should not be restricted to the class room but to be extended beyond.

Learning new things is her passion. She has attempted several Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) in diverse domains; Architecture and Planning, Engineering, Management, and other Multidisciplinary. She has participated in various conferences and workshops on Sustainable Urban Development, Slum Development, GIS, Earthquake Resistant structures, A.C. systems, etc. Reading and traveling are her hobbies. She also has presented papers and articles in conferences.

She recommends books” Jonathan Livingston Seagull” by Richard Bach,” a Marathi novel “Prarambh” by Gangadhar Gadgil (also translated in English by Arvind Dixit) and a documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” directed by David Guggenheim.

A practicing architect with more than 14 years of experience with interest which lie in Graphic Design to Interiors to Architectural Design to Urban Planning. One of the founding members of Grass Roots Research and Consultancy in Mumbai which basically deals with research and practice towards spatially integrated planning methodologies with projects spanning across various parts of Maharashtra, Punjab, Himachal and Uttaranchal.

She has handled projects across the country and also worked on research projects which have been funded by MMRDA like, "The Environmental Management Plan for Matheran Plateau" and Development around the lakes of Mumbai for sustaining the biodiversity and ecological status of the environs". Also worked on an Urban design project for the city of Thane in association with Belgium firm. The clients have been various Municipal Council and Municipal Corporations, NGO's, MMRDA, private individuals and organizations etc. She has been a Co-author for two research papers namely "A Design for Eco-Sustainability : Lessons from a stressed environment in Mumbai and Imperatives for Eco-Sustainability.

Architectural design and implementation experience was gained through working with various renowned architects across Mumbai, one of them being Architect Raja Aederi who has designed the Dome Adlabs theatre in Wadala, Mumbai. She strongly believes towards an holistic approach including appropriate methodology for any project.

She is concerned with issues related to environment and has an intense involvement in conceptualizing, designing and project implementation. With an analytical approach and a team spirit, she is one of the most dedicated members.

Along with practice and hands on industry experience, there was always an inclination towards academics and this interest for teaching carried her to join TSAP at the right time during her career. A traveler and a thinker, she always wishes to be an academician and an educator.

The Fountainhead – a novel by Ayn Rand has been a liking and would like to suggest it to the others as a must read.

She has a teaching experience of over 7 years and professional experience of 18 years. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at Thakur School of Architecture & Planning.

Dipali thinks that the quote stands true for a teacher, as the teacher too has no control over the future of the student but is striving to enlighten the present for each student that he/she comes across.She thinks that learning is a continuous process which should ideally be a symbiotic relationship between a teacher and student.

She believes in experimenting with design methodology during the teaching process to suit the student's temperament. She thinks that it is necessary to engage the student by giving them an memorable experience while teaching, as they will always remember the experience and the knowledge attached to the experience. This can be achieved by introducing different teaching methodologies while conducting lectures , studios, workshops and documentation.She strives to help the students in learning and adapting to the course of architecture by trying to widen the knowledge base and the perspective of the students.

She has a practice as a freelance architect since 2005. She likes to travel and sketch. She has an interest in architectural conservation and urban design and interior design.
